Modchip installation service.
Important:
- The modchip will be the latest one based on the RP2040.
- Modchip installation requires a minimal 128 GB but 256 GB is advised. Memory cards can be ordered from us.
- Please do not send or hand in the device before charging its battery.
Procedure:
- When ordering this service, a shipping label will be issued to ship the device.
- After receiving, it will be prepared for modchip installation (time needed is 2-3 working days)
- Upon finishing the installation, a return label will be issued.
Benefits:
- If you wish to add an option which is not available in this list, please add it as a separate option.
- Copper heatsink option is available for OLED and Lite models only.
- Thermal paste differs in quality.
- The console will work on two separated systems.
- You can link your eShop account on the official system and play online without any problems.
- The modified system is disconnected from the servers of the company provider to protect the console from getting banned.
- Online multiplayer is not available on the modified system. You must purchase and play it on the official system.
- Installing an internal modchip is the best solution to protect the device from getting banned (you will not get protection when using flash cards).
- The ability to install homebrew apps, emulators, overclock and much more.
